Some quick tips are:

Always use a pre filter when installing an ionizer. This will prolong the life of your plates and internal filter.

Never use water softeners as this will eat away at the internal plates! It will also void warranty.

If you have natural soft water then a re mineralizer would be needed for any ionizer to work correctly. All water electric ionizer will not work with low mineral count in the water.

Washing fruits and vegetables in 10 PH will last longer when stored.

read the manual carefully Max run time vary between brands. To be safe I never run it more than 10 minutes at a time.

Never use litmus paper to test PH. The best choice would be ph testing drops. Digital meters need constant calibrating and sometimes give false values.
